UPS (Uninterruptable Power Supply)

A UPS provides protection from power surges and fluctuations, a constant power flow and blackout protection.

 

The UPS provides a constant flow of power to the devices plugged into it so the devices do not receive any unwanted power fluctuations.  It is designed to prevent damage to devices by taking the brunt of power surges.  During a power overload (such as during a lightning storm) the UPS will sacrifice itself to ensure the devices plugged into it are unharmed.  It also has an internal battery so if you do loose power (such as during a blackout) it will still power some devices for a short period of time.

 

The UPS is NOT designed for use with power hungry devices such as fridges.

 

Cash Drawers

We have Cash Drawers in stock.  These are full sized cash drawers with 8 coin slots and 5 note holders with metal bill weights.  The metal bill weights are more durable and less prone to breakage than plastic bill weights.  It also has slots in the front to keep Eftpos receipts and cheques.  

 

We also have the CUTI stylish Cash Drawer which is smaller and sleeker than standard cash drawers so it takes up less room.  It has 8 coin slots and 5 note holders as well as a slot to keep Eftpos receipts and cheques.

 

P.O.S Receipt Printers

 

 

We stock a variety of P.O.S Receipt Printers for Cash Registers and P.O.S Systems.  

 

Thermal Printers print to thermal paper and do not need ribbons to print.  This means that they have high print speeds making them good to print out receipts for your customers.

 

Kitchen Printers (also known as Dot Matrix Printers and Impact Printers) are designed for Restaurant environments.  They print to bond paper which is not affected by heat so the print will not fade.  This means that they are used by kitchen staff to prepare customers meals.  They can use 2 ply or 3 ply paper to print out multiple copies so different staff can prepare the meal.  For example one cook can prepare the entree while a second cook can prepare the main course.

Scanners

We have USB and serial cable scanners for P.O.S Systems and Cash Registers.  The Scanners also come with stands for hands free operation of the scanner.

 

Wet Covers

Silicone Wet Covers fit over the screen of your touch screen P.O.S System or over the keyboard of your Cash Register.  The Wet Cover is designed to prevent moisture, dirt, dust and food particles from getting inside your Cash Register and impairing its function.

 

We have Wet Covers available for many brands including Uniwell, Casio, Tec/Toshiba and SAM4S.

 

Tablet Stands

We have Tablet Stands designed for tablets such as Samsung tablets or Ipads.  The Tablet Stands are lockable to secure the tablet inside.  The base is magnetic to help secure it to metal surfaces.
